And the problem for the one's willing to risk it all and go for it is that you have to have basically everybody on board or its all screwed from the start.

Only way I can possibly see football being played is if a handful of schools say "frick it" and they all just play each other on an ad-hoc schedule. And even that would go off the rails after a game or two as players/coaches start poppin positive. And those teams would be lucky if half their players showed up.
