I'm not 100% sure. I haven't read the full study and it seems to actual look at the whole thing you need to pay for it, at least from what I have found. I believe the overall summary was diversity caused issues of trust in the short term but the other benefits, cultural, economic, fiscal, and developmental appear or are likely to appear in the long term.

I do know one thing. I found those quotes that I posted above within a few mins of looking. It seems that people are misinterpreting his findings very often and using them for a different purpose.

Its a major issue if we use a study or finding but refuse to take into account what the writer says about the overall study because it no longer suites are purpose. We have to take everything into account or disregard the study as a whole. We can't just take certain aspects we like about it.

You don't need Chinese people to make awesome Chinese food, unless you think that knowing how to make Chinese food is genetic, which seems kinda racist right?

Do be specific about the benefits. How is diversity in the US helpful fiscally, when only Whites and Asians in aggregate, pay more in taxes than they take? How is massively increased population due to massive legal and illegal immigration good for the environment, for the cost of housing?

Putnam, a good White liberal, was dismayed and shocked to find a huge negative for diversity and is trying his best to put a positive spin on his findings. He studied social trust in particular, so till he does a study proving that there are benefits, you are just spreading his conjecture.
