Of course he found ways to continue to praise diversity. First, he is an academic and you have no idea how much pressure there is to NOT seem racist, to NOT seem to worship diversity. EVERY major school now has an office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for goodness sake. There are serious consequences for deviating.

And here is one problem.

You have no problem using his study/findings but whenever he wants to make comments about it or correct misunderstandings. "He is only doing that because he doesn't want to seem racist." He seemed to be referring exactly to people like you who misunderstand his findings and use it for your own agenda.

Ok, but what did he say diversity did? Besides saying that it promoted racial and cultural diversity? Do you not see the circularity here? Regardless, I was talking about social trust!

It sure would be helpful if you or he explained the benefits of diversity aside from diversity. I am sure there are some, but do tell us what they are! I am not totally opposed to diversity. Personally, I love ethnic food, but don't see why we need a majority non white nation to have loots of ethnic food here. But still, I am open to learning. What are the benefits? Are they worth the hit on social trust and national unity?
