UGA has underachieved in the fact that they do not have a national title by now especially with all that elite talent.
AU, Bama, LSU, UF all have one or more. Now it's Georgia's turn and they always fall a little bit short. Can Kirby get them there??

Not to take a cheap shot or pile on too much, but this really is the #1 answer for underachieving.

As dominant as the SEC has been, as much talent as UGA has, the continuity in coaching, and as relatively weak as the East has been since Meyer's departure and the demise of UTk, it seems like it would have all come together at least once in a manner that doesn't involve having the rug ripped out from underneath them in the final 2 minutes of a CG.

Overacheivers: Mizzou, 2 SEC Division titles. Granted they were in years when Troy would have had a shot to win the East, but they still managed it.

Under/Overachievers: Auburn's roller coaster program.

KUDOS — GREAT POST — WHY I COME HERE

Can Kirby get them there?

Answer is yes!

Reason:
Kirby keeps picking up the remnants of Saban’s Program while OPENING HIS EYES to what others are doing. Kirby no longer tries to beat Bama at their own game.

He finally did it — Opened up the offense and got him a KING OF THE UP TEMPO QBs in Jamie Newton!

FACT :: If you asked every GA fan what a successful year would be — ie beating one team! They would all answer Alabama on Sept 19 because of the lopsided series this past decade.

LSU and Auburn shagged that Saban @$$ last year and its Kirby & Pruitt’s year to get some in what surely will be Sabah’s last ride

X’s and O’s: Kirby will run a hurry up 75 plays per game and get away from his predictable rushing offense in 2020. The only stump in the way is Covid-19 but if the game is played GA will likely win in a 40+ passing Attempt day that will leave Bulldog fans delirious and Gump fans in total despair awaiting other SEC sharks circling Tuscaloosa.
