For Orange Beach, chances that happens at this point? I’m not feeling optimistic

I just got back from Gulf Shores, it’s like normal over there. Your vacation should be just fine.

Good to hear! How packed was it?

We just got back from Seaside, FL. Crazy packed; restaurants with 2-3 hr waits in Destin. Even Whataburger’s line was double wrapped around the building

I wouldn't go to any beach area this year at all.

I’m at the beach now, I think I’ve come in close contact with less folks than I would have at home. We leave tomorrow

Went to the beach Memorial Day. Easiest social distancing I've done sine the shutdown began.

I went same weekend to Orange Beach and no one was social distancing. Was glad to finally set sail and get out of there. Literally, like on a sailboat and out of the marina for 3 days. Couldn't leave slip due to tropical storm for 1st three days and it was a crowded bar scene, not so filled restaurants, and mostly mask free.
Your trip should likely be good to go.

My coworkers are planning on taking a family trip to Orlando July 14th. Might just put in for work from home order for 14 days after they get back.

Dauphin Island. It’s not like no one is here but aside from going to the grocery store I don’t think we’ve been within 6 feet at all unless it was walking past people on the beach and I’m not sure if we got within 6 foot there either. The place we are at is not fancy at all but it is private beach not public.
To add, we cooked at the condo and didn’t go out to eat at all except to pick up shrimp boil stuff one night. So, we’re weird and kinda stayed hermitted in,

I’m historically not the biggest vacation on the beach fan- not that I hate it but if I’m on vacay I like to see stuff I haven’t seen and go about doing stuff but for this covid year it was perfect imo.

Yeah I’m itching to go. Haven’t been to the beach in a couple years. My daughter is 4 and will remember this a lot better than the last trip.

GO! I’ve got 3 condo’s booked through Sept 8th and all States are welcome to AL beaches. We had some of the nicest LA families rent back to back for the months of May and June when LA residents were fricking banned from FL.
Come on down and have fun.

Bump, Alabama has a ton of new cases. Getting worried they may shut the whole shebang down.
