Does he realize that if he doesn't play, he will lose his scholarship and go undrafted, have to get a real job ,that could suck cuz no college degree.

Does he understand the school can't change the flag. Way to throw away potential generational wealth.

He's bluffing anyway. He will just say he didn't realize the school isn't capable of changing the flag

Do you realize that on the College Level he is an elite talent and there are 70 other HCs that make 7-figure salaries that will take him into their programs and give him that same chance at a Degree and the NFL?

Guys that get booted for weed, booze, and petty crimes get 2nd chances so uber talented guys like him will have plenty of programs to transfer to

I highly doubt he is bluffing. Also, I am certain the flag does and has been a point of contention for him and other athletes attending MS schools, even if most schools, some cities and a variety of other public institutions across the state stopped flying it around 2015 after the Charleston church shooting.

That said, with the current environment and recent Justin Fields' precedent, he has also most likely realized a free chance to transfer out penalty free. I highly doubt it has gone unnoticed that Mike Leach's most consistent achievement at Wazzu was finishing dead last in FBS in rushing attempts per game EVERY yr that he was there. Yes, he would be included in the passing game (which is a big bonus for NFL backs and something that would likely suit his skillset well).

But, good on him either way. He will be playing for his 3rd coach in 4 years. No matter the issue with the flag, he is entering his draft year. He needs a big year that won't come stats or exposure wise, most likely, at MSU. Let him go fill a hole somewhere else where he can be the bell cow.
