To be honest, this really has not affected my life at all.

I'm not a very social person, so I don't go out often. I only have a few close friends who I hang out with. I'm a pretty reserved person and most of my hobbies are individualistic: trail running, art, piano, creative writing, working on the yard, fine tuning my truck, and reading. I'm a pretty solitary young guy who lives out in the country.

I still work in the suburbs. My internet connection sucks where I live (it's fed via cell tower) so I have to go into the office to get my work done efficiently. The biggest impact this has had on my life is the bizarre feeling of just about everyone being cleared out of the office. I do miss the daily interactions there, though. I see so few people at work now.

Shoot, I realized I totally missed the objective of your thread after reading my post.

How has it benefitted me?

Since I've had even more time to myself, it's given me time to be introspective. To realize the things I want for myself, the things that make life as a human being meaningful for me. I take my life as a human for granted sometimes. I'll become frustrated with myself with the belief I'm wasting my life.

Edited to add:

Okay, I actually have benefitted by making more money. I'm in sales, specifically in the medical field. My commission has steadily increased since late March. I'm making more money than I ever thought I would at 23. My earnings for the second quarter were equal to an annual salary of $75,000 (it won't stay that high, though). I typically pull in about $15,000 per quarter, or 60k per year.
