Let's look at the players who were suspended in the fraud scandal:

Kadeem Telfort, freshman OT -- kicked out of school, went JUCO, and now is committed to UAB

Antonio Callaway, junior WR -- never played another game at UF and predictably smoked his way out of the NFL

Jordan Scarlett, junior RB -- returned and had very good 2018

Keivonnis Davis, junior DL -- was set to return in 2018 but left the program in the off-season due to weed problems

Richard Desir-Jones, soph DL -- transferred to Central Oklahoma

Jordan Smith, freshman DL -- never played a game at UF

James Houston, freshman LB -- returned and has played small role since

Ventrell Miller, freshman LB -- returned and turned into a solid starter in 2019

Rick Wells, freshman WR -- returned and has a whopping three receptions in the two seasons since 2017

So, again, if you're arguing that if it's the credit card scandal that did Mac in, the effects of it should have lingered on through Mullen's first few years. But they didn't because the majority of the players lost in the scandal were non-factors or headaches (in Callaway's case).
