Are you trying to perform some sort of mental gymnastics here and making the inference that the left is more patriotic than the right? Or even patriotic at all?

I would think you not to be a hater of draft dodgers. Are you going to teach us all about what real patriotism is?

Protesting, rioting and looting is my guess, then compare it to the Boston Tea Party. We have seen this all before.

Neither side is "patriotic".

Patriotism:
quote:

the quality of being patriotic; devotion to and vigorous support for one's country.

Both sides are not really in support of their country, just themselves. A patriot doesn't whine about having to wear a mask, and act oppressed because because a local business asks people politely to wear one before coming in. A patriot doesn't destroy small businesses and people's homes because of injustices suffered from other groups. A patriot doesn't tell people they cannot protest peacefully or launch gas at peaceful protesters and a patriot doesn't protest violently towards those that afforded them no violence.

Today we are flooded with the sense that waving a flag around, or screaming at a person who disagrees with you, is "patriotic". It's not. It's no "more" or "less" patriotic to ignore the plight of others.

Patriotism is a false narrative these days, trumpeted by groups who don't do anything even remotely patriotic.
