that's not how it works dude

you hire an AD to let them do their job. You don't hire them to then tell them who they're going to hire

That's the problem with Arkansas. That's what we've always done. Fricking Lindsey was telling Frank who to hire and Frank was okay with it. Etc

Yes you hire an AD to do a job but like head coaches, they are politicians. An AD has to play the game and get a long with figures that influence a major university.

No they shouldn't be told how to do a job but he isn't the one who has the money either. Both parties have to negotiate an agreement on the candidate. An AD can put the foot down but eventually he has to find middle ground or they will find a way to fire you.

That was Frank's fault and should have said no. But like I said you have to come to terms and both have to agree.
