In 2011 defense and special teams scored a lot and gave us a lot of short fields. It was the same 1970s offense. Without Mathieu, we'd probably have gone 9-3 or something. Petrino vs Miles was a huge coaching mismatch, clown hat could've easily lost three straight to midlife crisis Bobby from 2008-10 despite having much more talent. Brain-Les was Bert's bitch (only win coming on a hail mary at home in 2013), I shudder to think what Petrino would've done to him

Yea, but that defense was incredible. Especially Mathieu and the secondary. How many points did they score?

FWIW, I don't recall ever fearing an LSU offense until last season.
