Just shows how massive our talent level gap is to teams like LSU and Alabama right now when we have 2 players picked compared to like 14 for them.

This is what has been so apparent over the last few days to me. Even programs that have really high recruiting rankings like A&M, Auburn, Tennessee, and Florida are not putting the kinds of players in the NFL like LSU and Bama, and Georgia well behind those 2.

Basically the entire starting 22 of both Bama and LSU are getting drafted now. How the hell do we even compete?

The answer is obvious that the days of these idiot coaches like Bert who don't belive in recruiting and morons like Chad running a program simply can't be tolerated.

I also think that we made the absolute best choice possible with Pittman. He knows exactly what we're up against.

Having 2 guys drafted every year in rd 3 and 7 ain't going to cut it. We've basically got to start getting nfl bodies and coach the hell out of them and start putting numerous guys in the league every year or else it's the basement for the foreseeable future.

I'm honestly shocked that we had 2 drafted. I knew Sosa would get a chance simply based on his raw talent. The NFL can look past shite coaching and see that he has potential.

Then you consider the fact that Ole Miss had none drafted. Was there not any leftovers from the Freezus era?

Someone on social media made not that jonesboro tech hasn't had a player drafted in over 6 years. I think some of the D2 schools in Arkansas have had players drafted in that time span.

I guess it shows that despite being horrible that we still recruit an occasional player that can get to the league.

Hopefully Pittman is a good enough coach to maximize our team's potential. Then you add the hope that he can recruit somewhere near the rate he was at Georgia - not top 10 but somewhere around top 15 with some monsters on the offensive line - and we will be light years better than we were under Aggie Bert.
