I'm no insider, but I've heard through the grapevine that this has been in the works since even before Kelly O's health issues.
As in, once O got the LSU job and (more importantly) his sons graduated high school.
Reason why? Anyone's guess. But it seems whatever the reason, it isn't because of anything recent.

I assume two adults going their ways. He probably spends a lot of time around other people and work and she is probably pushed off to the side. Cant fault people getting tired of each other. I cant stand most of you, but come back everyday :)
