I don't think that's fair. 9-3 is the best record we've had in an even year in the 00s.
09 will be the year LM can be adequately judged. We've won the West in every even year in the 00s. If that stops, then we've got a problem.

My bad. I thought that 2006 team finished 11-2. I guess I drank too much that year and didn't understand as clearly as you.

2006? 11-2

Oh, you meant under the WVMD, we didn't post a record better than 9-3. 2000, 2002, 2004 were 8-4, 8-5 and 9-3, so that's right. But, LSU (under head coach Les Miles) went 11-2 in 2006.
