If we're going to do that, why did we cancel the SECT (and other conference tournaments)? What's the difference?
I suspect everything for NCAA Tourney will be cancelled as well due to contractual reasons. Once they cancelled fan participation then they had no reason for the large venues for the games. I suspect the only way they could weasel out of the massive losses they were going to incur was to cancel the entire thing due to the Federal declaration of a health emergency.
