Okay.

This is a coronavirus, and a new one, at that. It’s absolutely silly to speculate on its end characteristics. We have to operate on what we definitely know about it: It’s extremely contagious; it’s deadly dangerous for a significant portion of the population; and, a vaccine cannot be made for a coronavirus.

You wish for me to stop beating the flu drum then you go on to list exactly the same things, concerning China's Wuhan virus, that makes the flu so dangerous.

The flu is extremely contagious.

New vaccines for different strains of the flu have to come out continuously due to it's constant mutation.

Flu virus variations are extremely dangerous for significant portions of the population.

A vaccine can be made for coronavirus, just as it can be for thousands of different versions of a flu virus.

If that were true, there would be vaccines for SARS, MERS and the four coronaviruses that, along with certain rhinoviruses, cause the common cold. A vaccine for SARS has been “in the works” for 17 years, ever since it first manifested in 2003.

MERS vaccine research has been funded since 2012 when it first appeared in the Middle East. Still no vaccine after 8 years.
