It's a fricking shame because, having grown up in the Norm years, I really thought Mizzou could return to those days and compete for SEC championships, year in and year out. We might not win it every year, but we'd compete for it more times than not. What a complete disaster this program has become.

Yeah, it’s sad how far basketball has fallen. I grew up towards the end of the Stewart years and remember the year the team went unbeaten in the Big 8 and was a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Even when the team started to fall off you could still count on a competitive team most of the time with the occasional big upset and a packed arena. Now it’s nothing close to that. I don’t even care to check the schedule to find out if the team played when I get off work anymore. Most of the time I forgot the team even had a game. It’s sad really. And it doesn’t look like anything is going to change next year either.
