Welp, never mind on Grimes.

His dad said yesterday he was going to reclassify to 2020 and be on campus in Chapel Hill within a month. Too much uncertainty with regards to HS football in VA this fall.

Stfu about this already. You've brought it up several times and have been proven wrong about it every time.

I'm only going to engage you because that couldn't be more wrong. Let's break down what I said little by little and make it easy.

Auburn:

ACADEMICS: Ranked #104 in National Universities according to US News
FOOTBALL: Beat UGA 3 times in the last 15 games

UGA:

Ranked #50 in National Universities according to US News
Football: Beat Auburn 12 times out of the last 15 games

Where exactly am I wrong when I said we're better than them at basically everything?

If a kid wants to go there then fine, that's certainly their decision but objectively speaking it makes no sense unless you value things like "comfort" or "family atmosphere" or whatever silly reason some recruits choose.

If I had a golden ticket to go to any college I wanted, I wouldn't choose a bad academic school with above average football in a small town in the wasteland of Alabama.

I'd choose the school with the best balance between Academics and Football or simply just choose to go the academic route.

Clemson, Ohio St, Florida and Georgia offer the best balance between academics and having a realistic shot to win a title.

Auburn though? Why the hell would you waste your golden ticket on going to a school with a crap degree and a long shot at competing for a title?

Again (because I know this is what your response will be) if a kid wants to go to Auburn then fine but it just makes no sense to me.

Either be Davis Mills and go academic or go to one of the above mentioned schools and compete for a title.
