Newman had a slightly better passer rating, and many more rushing yards, while playing with a supporting cast talent disadvantage. Unsure if he missed wide open tds game after game like fromm did, but that was a major problem for uga last year with Fromm. Seccg would have been much closer if Fromm simply passed better.

Newman's Georgia offense will likely be more effective than Fromm's was much of the season. Not saying he's a better player, but hes better in tight windows, more accurate downfield, and more mobile. On top he has a legit offensive scheme and he has a better set of receivers to throw to.

Keep in mind: All the defense needs to be all time great is an offense that can sustain drives. People doubting Georgia may be in for a rude arse awakening this coming season.
