re: Bama fans, do ya'll claim 15 MNC's, or 17 with 1930 & 1941?

Fans and schools can claim as many as they want, but when the press and the media repeat those claims that is the issue. Alabama claims way too many and AU not enough, but that is CF. Auburn (Jay Jacobs) decided not to claim any additional NCs due in part to how many perceived Bama and their claims. But he did an injustice to those players who earned that right. AUs 1913 team earned the right to be recognized by the University, many of them fought in WWI and one died. It would have been cool to recognize them 100 years later.
