IDK, I think you can break it down into the following groups:

1) Elite/Blue Bloods: they are the cream of the crop. I put these at the top 8-10 teams all time.
2) Old Money: they've won championships historically and are still winning today, but not quite Elite.
3) New Money: a newer entrant to the discussion that's currently relevant but hasn't proven to have the staying power of Old Money or Elites.
4) Plebeians: everyone else.
