Maybe they're generational talents but that doesn't mean they're generational players, yet. There's a difference between the two.

Take Lawrence for example. He may have generational talent. He checks all the boxes. That said, as of right now he isn't a generational player.

Also, should generational be singular ? If a generation is say 30 years, should only one player at a particular position be christened a generational talent ?

Julio, Amari or Jeudy ? Which one would Bama fans consider generational if at all ?

If not for a crapstorm of bad Bama coaches in 2018, they would be saying he just can't win the big one like Deshaun Watson.

If Julio had played with Tua in Sark’s offense, he would have shattered every receiving record at Alabama. Generational player. The other two are great players, Julio is Hall of Fame caliber.
