If you take Tennessee out of Tier 1 and move them to Tier 2, then they fall from a projected 10-8 in SEC play down to just 5-13.... which seems way too low.

Tennessee's schedule is brutal. Their final 11 games are these:

at Miss St.
at Alabama
Kentucky
Arkansas
at S. Carolina
Vanderbilt
at Auburn
at Arkansas
Florida
at Kentucky
Auburn

I honestly don't see them getting to 10-8 against that schedule though I think they'll be better than 5-13.... probably somewhere in between which is why they don't really fit in a tier.

This is an unlucky time to draw Auburn twice in conference play this season.

Here are my predictions:

Vanderbilt

Florida

Auburn

We'll take three of those and finish conference play at 7-11.

Ha. I just recalculated it, but moved Tennessee from Tier 1 to Tier 2 to see how it would look..... it would come out with a 4-way tie for the regular season championship:

1. LSU, Kentucky, Auburn, Florida: 14-4

5. Alabama, Miss St., Arkansas: 13-5

8. S. Carolina: 8-10

9. Texas A&M: 6-12

10. Tennessee: 5-13

11. Georgia, Missouri, Ole Miss: 4-14

14. Vanderbilt: 0-18

...honestly look at that schedule though. Who does UT beat? Vandy, maybe SC. But who else? They could easily be the best 5-13 team in the country with nothing to show for it. That schedule is ungodly tough. They will need a run in the SEC Tourney to get to the dance (which I wish Ole Miss was headed, but oh well...).
