It's just not gonna happen.
I think maybe Odell may have had a chance had LSU not lost 3 games in 2013. Had over 1000 yards receiving and return yards, but he didn't even come close. I just don't think it's possible. If a WR puts up worthy numbers, his QB will get more attention, just how it seemingly works. If he's also running the wildcat, he likely wouldn't have the receiving yards.
Randy Moss had arguably the most ridiculous season all-time for a college receiver and he finished 4th.

Yep - and certainly no receiver from a mid-major is going to win, even a guy like Moss who everyone knew was a generational talent (an actual one, not the "generational talent" type people like to throw around to everyone these days
).
