I thought the lawsuit said that it "kept" him from duck hunting (while he was recovering), not that it "keeps" him from duck hunting. Past tense vs present tense is important.

I don't know how losing the pinky (once healed) would prevent hunting. I would think that it would suck to try to shoot a gun following partial amputation until it healed. Remember, it has been 2 years since the chair incident.
