That's an odd justification. You lose players from Baton Rouge all the time in most sports.

Your main pt or analogy was that if Saban had “tape” of something similar that Tiger fans would go “nuclear”. To me the better analogy would be if Bama’s basketball coach was caught outbidding Calipari (well known cheater) for a Tuscaloosa kid. I think most of us would actually applaud him for standing up to Calipari.
