Bingo. I have Mullen/Stoops/Leach in my top 4 and neither have won anything. I concocted this on the simple premise that if every coach in the league had an LSU-type roster, who would out-coach who on a given day.

This is a good point. Funny that the 3 guys you listed all seem to get the most out of the players that they have on the roster. That, imo, is a huge benchmark of a successful coach. I think you can put Kiffin in that category as well. He has an innate ability to get kids to buy into what he's selling.
