Do you really think all these NFL players whose best friends may still be on the team don't come back and take current players out to dinner or buy them something at a store.
It happens all the time.

I'm sure these NFL players hook their friends up with NFL game tickets.

No doubt it's just crazy that it was straight up cash handshakes right there in front of a national broadcast camera.

Then LSU absurdly releases the statement that it's "fake cash"? Like anyone believes that?

I don't think they need to be punished or anything but when it's right in front of the camera and then the stupid arse fake money statement wouldn't you think NCAA has to address it to save face just a little bit?

pretty sure if they were former team mates and friends they're not restricted from doing things like that. But that's not what happened here. Odell is not a former team mate of anyone on the team. The only guy on the team he may have had a long-lasting prior relationship with was Justin Jefferson. Nonetheless, Odell would be considered a booster and what he did was fricking idiotic. He's gone from being a distraction on his own team to being a distraction on teams he doesn't even play for.
