Wrong. Gus doesn't adjust his offense to his players strength. He just had the perfect QB come in to run his scheme with a good OL.

Same with Nick Marshall. Still the best I've ever seen run zone read. '13 AU was kind of like '19 LSU. Except with the running game. You knew it was coming and couldn't stop it. Gus would run the same play over and over until it was stopped.

Don't know what broke him from those days.
