This isn't an opinion. It's all-time points from AP Finishes since the inception of the AP Poll in 1936. A first place finish is worth 25 points, 2nd place finish is worth 24 points, etc.

If you don't like the order, then you don't like history. There's nothing I can do to change it.

but as noted, Alabama has been #1 in the AP poll more than any team, and then it's Ohio State. I would add that the SEC and Big 10 were much more competitive conferences than the old Big 8. That was Nebraska and OU and the also rans, and those also rans weren't as good as those in Big 10 and SEC.
