I've changed my mind. I think it's A&M. But maybe it's wishful thinking on my part. Regardless, here are the reasons:
Insiders on TexAgs, who are usually pretty guarded and conservative in their predictions, have been high on A&M's chances with Jackson for a good long time, even to the point of getting mocked by other Ags. Further, a poster on a longhorn site posted a claim that he set on a plane right beside a high ranking DL recruit who was being pursued by Alabama and LSU, and the recruit (whom he did not name) told the poster that he was going to A&M. (At least, according to this random longhorn poster on a longhorn site.) Further, A&M insiders have remained pretty confident about Jackson even when none of the national guys thought he was going to A&M. If Jackson knew a year ago where he was going (as he says he did), and he set up his last visit for A&M, then it seems a good bet that he was decided on A&M when he set up the visits. I know none of that is compelling. And some if it would be very weak if it were taken in isolation. But, taken in total, that's a fair bit of smoke.
We'll see. But I think he's signing with A&M tomorrow. Like I said, maybe it's wishful thinking on my part.
