Then why offer? That’s my point.
A guy asks 10 girls to go out on a date. One of them says “Ok let’s do it.” Then the guy says “Nah. I’m good” and walks away. What was the point in asking her in the first place?

Because if all of your people above them say no to you, then you would be able to accept them. Hard to get somebody if you wait and offer late. It’s a game.
