It's not their fault. All that stagnant swamp water seeps into the drinking water, and that's how you get brain eating bacteria and shite
That and it's really hard to meet women outside of the family when you live in an isolated swamp and can only get around by fan boat for dates. So generations of inbreeding has had its impact as well
