As Bama chases what many consider to be the greatest football stat to exist, all-time wins, their latest victory comes at the expense of the the record holder of that stat.

Alabama defeats Michigan to bolster their win total to 945 which is a mere 16 wins behind Michigan's 961.

As the Crimson Tide gains the upper-hand in win/loss ratio, 3 wins to 2 losses, against Michigan with the bowl game victory over them, they are soon to overtake them in total wins.

Everyone coalesce around Bama's chase for immortality and support their efforts to reign supreme in the annals of college football history for all time.

Alabama hasn't done what they have done just for Alabama for over a century now but, for the whole of the SEC.

Teams that don’t win NCs cling to win counts.

How the mighty have fallen.

It's not just a win total for a season, which is inconsequential to this discussion.

It's THE win total of all-time. Fans of teams like LSU can understand, fully, what is being discussed because they have an inability to grasp the magnitude of it.

And, I'm not just singling out LSU because LSU is a nobody really, in all-time lists of any sort concerning college football. Many, many teams are in the same boat as LSU in not really mattering.

I'm not sure how this is a troll or why anyone would view it as such.

Misses out on the big game. Has to list historical stats to feel relevant. Melting as bad as Clemson will be after 1/13/20

Right, Bama fans have no experience with national championship games recently so, we must live in the past.

But, it is a past that is currently unfolding in present times as the win total of Alabama continues to increase.

Just his season, with Bama's 11 wins and Michigan's 9 wins, the Crimson Tide gained 2 wins towards the goal of complete and total dominance of virtually all important stats that matter in the sport.

They currently hold the distinction of most NC's and best all-time winning percentage. There is only one important one left.

Your rundown forgot to mention Ohio State having more wins than Bama. They should catch Michigan first.

Are bama's win totals "enhanced" similar to their bogus national championship count?
