Its been reported grades aren't the issue,

I don't know what the issue is. I'm spitballing like everyone else, except I'm bringing in NLI filing requirements.

I don't know what Evans grades are, but I believe there has to be a qualifying SAT or ACT.

Evans intended to be an EE. He took the ACT during the first half of the Semifinals..not a good sign. That result as you know would have been available in about two weeks. That's plenty of time for Georgia to get the result and file the NLI. If he was still trying to get a qualifying score. Maybe he didn't.

You seem to be informed regarding his academic standing, that may include his latest ACT. I'll certainly defer to anyone who has any facts whatsoever.

Maybe Georgia has some questions about his character after the cell phone issue that led to his not playing in the state championship game. So his offer became uncommittable until they got more information.

With respect DawgsLife comment on why would we know if Evans NLI was filed when other recruits status is still up in the air... Good point, and well taken, by the way.

What's the big secret? Whose secret is it anyway? Evans, who seemed to be pleading for some coach to want him? Or Georgia's? What would Georgia want secret here?

Most logical scenarios are either he doesn’t want UGA or UGA doesn’t want him. If he wanted out I didn’t know why he wouldn’t put the pressure on Kirby and publicly state that. In the event he doesn’t come to UGA I hope y’all get him or someone outside the SEC. kid is talented, but the drama seems never ending. Would be nice to have him with swift leaving, but UGA already has Milton, Zamir, Cook, and McIntosh. Not really hurting for backs at this point.

It would be his secret. he apparently loves the attention all of this brings him, and wants a big announcement. It really speaks to an awful lot of insecurities, to me, but kids are kids, I guess.

If he signed with Georgia I would guess we could care less if it is announced to the world. It is typically the kids call so he can make some big world altering announcement. *They usually have no clue that 99% of the world could care less about the announcement...and when you have a recruitment like his some of the people that cared at one time quit caring and just wants it to be over.)

Georgia would have no reason for it to be a secret. it can only be driven by the recruit when an announcement is made. Obviously a school could make the announcement or leak it....but why would a school start the relationship off on a sour note? Just let the kid have his big day and drive on.
