Been away past week so I'm sure subject been discussed. But I have to give my opinion and it's a strong one. The over ruled Clemson fumble picked up off ground and returned for TD by Ohio State is imo the worst botched call in history of SEC officials. The fact that it was so easily observed in detail on reply boggles the mind.

You’re right. It has been discussed. But it bears repeating imo. Add it to the “let’s let Auburn bring their entire team on the field, set the ball, set up, and kick a FG in one second” call....

Appreciate the timely, orginal topic...

Ive got no dog in this fight, but, To be reversed after it was called a scoop and score on the field was horrible.
What's done is done though.

The call was correct. When you watch a real time clip, it's pretty evident it wasn't a completed catch and football move to me. They do not use slow motion for a review of that type of play apparently, which is the argument as to be a catch there.

It was a horrible call, didn’t make a football move, he took 4 strides with the ball in two hands how is that not a football move “running with the ball”
It would have changed the complexion of the game at that time. I can understand why Day was mad.

That was a horrible call by the officials!! That was a scoop'n'score and Ohio State was robbed of the win.

Agree. I would have not had a problem if the officials on the field had called it an incomplete pass. But for the replay officials to not confirm that it was in fact a completed pass is mindboggling.
