Also - someone correct me if I'm wrong - I've heard that Mizzou is in debt and having to use school funds to pay Drink and his staff's salary?

With no insult intended to our neighbors in the North their AD has been in bad shape for a while. Attendance has been lagging in recent years and they've been in the red for the first time since joining the conference.

Add to that the bowl ban prevents them from getting their 10 million dollar slice of the SEC bowl revenue pie and... things are not coming up roses for them at the moment.
