Auburn Outback Bowl practice notes: Jay Jay Wilson returns, Tigers work ‘worst-case scenarios’
quote:
-- H-back/wide receiver Jay Jay Wilson has joined the team in Tampa after missing practice earlier in the week while dealing with some personal business. Wilson was in uniform and grouped with the rest of Auburn’s receivers during the open portion of practice.
-- Wide receiver Anthony Schwartz, who was injured on the first play of the Iron Bowl, was still in action and working with the first-team offense on Sunday. Schwartz had an elastic band running down the back of his right leg all the way down to his cleat. Gus Malzahn said Friday that he expects Schwartz and receiver Eli Stove to be available against Minnesota.
-- Auburn worked on an unbalanced offensive line during the early position drills, with Bailey Sharp at left tackle, Marquel Harrell at left guard, Nick Brahms at center, Mike Horton at right guard, Jack Driscoll at right tackle and Prince Tega Wanogho as the extra lineman on the right side. During those drills, Auburn ran a couple of reps in which it split Wanogho out wide and mimicked a pass (or a fake) to him.
-- With the unbalanced first-team line, Auburn shook up its second unit along the line. Austin Troxell, in an orange non-contact jersey (due to his ACL recovery), was at left tackle, with Tashawn Manning at left guard, Jalil Irvin at center, Brodarious Hamm at right guard and Alec Jackson at right tackle. During Friday’s practice, Jackson was at left tackle, with Hamm at right tackle and Sharp at right guard, while Troxell worked off to the side by himself.
-- Along with Troxell, two other players remained in orange non-contact jerseys: running back Mark-Antony Richards and long snapper Bill Taylor. Richards did not have a brace on his surgically repaired leg and appeared to be moving around well.
-- Toward the end of the viewing window, Gus Malzahn went through some formation-by-formation “worst-case scenarios” with Auburn’s offense, in the event the Tigers see certain looks from Minnesota on New Year’s Day. Malzahn explicitly said the team would not run any plays while the media was watching, but the seventh-year head coach still went through some detailed X’s and O’s with his offense to have them prepared for Wednesday’s game.

Isn't it kind of counter productive to put some of this info out
