Those guys committed to the team and need to play for their team. Sucky signal to send to younger guys that upperclassmen have permission not to “finish”.

Apparently I look at Bowl games differently than most, but I don’t feel like a player should sit out because of fear of injury, I think players should sit out simply because cfb bowl games outside of the playoff don’t mean jack shiit.
The seasons over, you got your asss whipped, and you didn’t make the playoff. Tip your cap to the 4 teams that made it, and take your asss home.
Diet, train, & practice so you better prepare yourself next season. But please God don’t play in a meaningless bowl game, pour Gatorade on your coach because you finished 7th place, and accept a fake trophy. My God what an embarrassment.
