I've always been in favor of increasing the scholarship limits. The only thing it is hurting now are the kids wanting to come to a certain school.

How many kids have Bama told no because they didn't have a spot for them?

They could still come if they have good enough grades.

That's called market. If the spot were open for them, they're likely lower on the totem pole and a risk to transfer.

You also have to look at it in totality. We wouldn't be the only school with more slots to fill, and this would exacerbate the problem "non-commitable" scholarship offers during the recruiting process.
