I generally back the po and don't have a huge problem with that video but the cop continued aggression a couple of times when it looks like maybe the situation could have been diffused. But hard to say for sure without being able to hear what was going on.
You mean the part where they were talking to him and he tried to get in his car? Maybe to leave or maybe to get a weapon?
Yea, I dont know man. Looked like he was not going to cooperate. Maybe they should have just let him go. That way, nothing would have happened. Right?

I thought they handled that very well. Guessing they took his alleged mental state into factoring their level of force.
For wherever reason, Harris felt like he needed to fight back. Could be drugs, mental health, or a bad attitude. Maybe we’ll find out.
We really don’t know 1) why the police handled that the way they did (I think they we’re great) 2) why Harris thought what he was doing was a good idea.
The video, as they tend to do, is just going to reaffirm or exacerbate our existing views on these altercations as a whole.
Hope everyone involved is OK. Officers expect and are trained for these interactions but they can take a toll on the man and the people around them.
