I want more consistency as bad as the next guy. But the fact is, Auburn is a 7-5, 8-4 -type program, historically (.633, roughly), punctuated by the occasional memorable season. The program across the state, as well as UGA's recent success (and LSU's, this year) have affected expectations, but it is what it is. Gus has outperformed our program's historical win percentage in spite of facing the most difficult schedules an Auburn coach has ever faced. He's also been an integral part of two, if not three, of those aforementioned memorable seasons (depending on how you view 2017). If we fire him, the likelihood of us doing worse is higher than the likelihood of us doing better.

I'm for holding him accountable when he does stupid shite. But I'm also for supporting him and giving the things he needs to win, until the day that he's not our coach anymore.

Tonight, he joined Les Miles with 3 wins against Little Nicky.

War Eagle.

It's a reality, but not a certainty. IMO the win tonight should shut down all the talk about him being fired. Let's get the bowl win and fix the broken crap before next season. If it falls apart there will be time for the "I told you so" comments.

All facts. Win the bowl game and that’s 2 10-win seasons and two IB wins in 3 years. I guess people can be disappointed in that or this season in general but I’m not.
