Iowa State goes down to K State

Cyclones downed at K State 27-17.
What little I saw of the game, K State pretty much controlled the game in 4th qtr. Was tied 17-17, then Wildcats marched down field and took over.
Pettway dropped a big pass to convert a 3rd down late. QB (Purdy) did not look great. Offense looked a lot like Chad/Gus offense, spread, shotgun look..
Team played hard, but did not look overly talented or fast. Looked about equal with K State, but they got chewed up at the end of the game.
Just general takeaways from game.

Iowa State couldn’t stop the run. Defense just wore down in the 2nd half.
