Don't tell my friends that go there that, they are all justifying their current Rolla induced pain by convincing themselves that they will be paid better due to their S&T degree. That school must have one hell of a propaganda scheme or something... I will never understand.

It depends on which engineering discipline you are going for. Chemical, Bio, and Mechanical Engineering are held in much higher regards at S&T than the other schools.
