As a current senior in college with friends at most of these universities, I feel like I have a pretty good idea.
Rockhurst - I know very little
UMKC - If your daughter wants to go into the medical field this is a GREAT option, any other program is the ugly stepchild of the UM System. One of my friends did her first 4 at MU and is going to finish up at UMKC.
Mizzou - As a current student I'm clearly biased... BUT, a degree from MU will be known anywhere you go - and the alumni network is huge. All of my friends from Highschool that attend other universities constantly beg to come up and visit (for literally ANY reason, especially on game days). Out of in-state schools, MU has the best experience with plenty of opportunities for networking.
Missouri State - This is the school where most of my friends that chose not to attend MU ended up. I like Springfield, but I'm glad I didn't go to school there... a few of my friends have told me that they wish they chose MU over State. All in all, id say this is #2 on the list.
Truman State - ew, Kirksville. (enough said)
SLU - I'm from the Lou, SLU was always cool but was never really an option for me. My friends that chose to stay there really like it though.
By the way, your daughter doesn't want to go to S&T because she would then be part of the small population of women on campus. On the bright side, if she went there she would probably end up married to a (future rich) Engineer?? There is something known as the "Rolla Bump" know by people my age... any rank 1-10 a female is, add 3 when she is in Rolla. Supply and demand I suppose rotflmao:
I wish your daughter good luck, it's a fun time in her life... MIZ!

Rolla is weird as fuk. I don't know why any women would go there unless they are from the Ozarks and got into Nursing school.
I was an engineer at Allied Aerospace in KC for a while. The largest contingents of engineers there came from Rolla, UMC, UMKC, and Kstate. We all got paid the same
