If this was known why have him in there up 35-7 on a bum leg, trying to make a pass with less than two minutes in the half. Then blame it on his aggressiveness, does nobody see the irony here.

I mean it's a reasonable question, but I think it's also reasonable to say that the kid has now been hurt 3 of the 4 times in his career on the exact same type of scramble and keep trying to make a play type plays, all at different points in a ballgame, 2 of the 3 while completely healthy.

So, at some point, if you think him doing that endangers him you really have to decide whether he can play at all ever, healthy or not regardless of score, because he plays in a way that can possibly lead to these types of injuries.

I don't think this injury had anything to do with his ankle. It was a mirror image play to the one he initially hurt his ankle on against Tennessee. A roll towards the sideline that he slowed down on to keep scanning the field.
