If this is such a huge problem why did saban wait to bring it up now? It’s not like the kid hasn’t been the qb for a good while.

They've been trying to get Tua to know when to concede plays for his entire career. You love that he always wants to throw a TD, but you also know that it causes sacks and INTs.
He'd been doing better this year at hitting check downs, but he never quite could accept throwing the ball into the stands. Honestly, I'm not sure I can remember more than 2-3 times he did it his entire career.

I believe many of us have been bringing this up quite a bit since the injury.

He's been trying to get him to play smarter since his freshman year.
