Saban is correct and it doesn't take a football expert to figure that shite out.
While this may be true in a close game with the game on the line...that's not what happened. I was watching the game and the announcers said.."Tua is probably through for today, he is shaking hands with the lineman and taking a seat on the bench. There would be no reason for him to play with a 35-7 lead and it will give him a chance to heal more." Then someone came to my door. I returned after a few minutes of talking to a person who had the wrong address and Tua is being taken off the field on a stretcher....so...no Saban does not protect his players like he should. I said the same thing about Muschamp leaving Hilinski in the game against UGA when Hilinski was obviously limping...It was wrong of my coach Muschamp and it was wrong of Saban not to protect these guys....

The two situations are in no way related.

The difference is, Tua showed no outward signs of being hurt prior to his season-ending injury on Saturday. He looked as close to 100% as he had been all season long throughout the game.
