UGA's D against AU...

absolutely shite the bed in the 4th quarter. Since UGA fans like to compare LSU and UGA's performance against AU (and ONLY AU), let's see how great UGA's "elite" D did against AU and how LSU's terrible D did when it mattered: in the 4th Qtr.
UGA's 4th Qrtr Defense:
Nix: 13-21 (.62)
Total Yards: 170
AU Drives: 4
Results: TD, TD, DOWNS, DOWNS
AU TOP: 9:52
AU Plays: 32
LSU's 4th Qrtr Defense:
Nix: 8-16 (.50)
Total Yards: 75
AU Drives: 4
Results: PUNT, PUNT, PUNT, TD
AU TOP: 7:18
AU Plays: 22
As has been mentioned: UGA's D is good, but also overrated. It was also one terrible Nix throw behind a wide open receiver away from being tied 21-21 late with AU.

I know this a shite-talking thread but I really don't think they have been tested much. The only remotely decent offense they have played this year is Florida.
They are one of the best in country in YPA defense but LSU is averaging a first down per passing attempt. It should be a really good game though assuming LSU's defense gets its shite together again.

Gus didn't open up and challenge UGAs secondary until he got down 21 point. It was there all day, but he didn't trust Nix.

Why? UGA fans only want to talk about one game of the entire season instead of looking at all 10, so why look at all 4 quarters instead of just the one where your D got abused?

We played man defense all game until we went up 21-0 then played soft zone for 3 series (when au got most of their success) then went back to man.
But let's ignore that.

Let's just wait for the damn game. You guys are beyond stupid with this stuff. Do I think UGA will beat LSU? Probably not, but Georgia hasn't even played a good game all season. Matter of fact, I'd say they haven't even played a descent game. LSU is very beatable and for you guys to act like you're not, is just setting yourselves up for an embarrassment of a lifetime. If we had to play OSU for the SEC title, I would be worried, but LSU? Hell no!

Pretty sure playing defense in quarters 1-3 matters. UGA absolutely stoned AuB for 56 out of 60 min. At their place.

Why would any Dawg want to talk about a win over AU? It’s a given! No big deal! Check out our win/ loss with them the last 15 years or so.
