my coworker just stated that Najee is bad at pass blocking. I told him that I'd never noticed that he was really bad, but he recalls seeing Najee whiff a lot on blocks. Is he that bad?

If I remember right it was an issue in prior years. Hasn't been an issue this year.

I think the easiest way to answer this is how much does he play - particularly on passing downs.

Historically, the thing that has kept backs off the field at Bama is their inability to do jobs (ie - block) other than carry the ball.

Najee is clearly our primary back now. If the staff didn't think he was at least serviceable as a blocker he'd be seeing a lot less time on the field.
